NeutroCure – Methodology

Specific microenvironment is established under disease conditions: for example, elevated levels of ROS are present in cancer cells and tumors as well as in aberrant polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN’s) in infammatory and autoimmune diseases.

NeutroCure will make use of these differences between pathological and normal states to develop safe ROS-amplifiers targeting aberrant PMN’s. These amplifiers can be potentially used for treatment of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, cancer and myeloablation.
